²⁴However, God raised him up, releasing him from the pangs of death, because it was impossible for him to be held in its power. ²⁵For David says of him:

‘I saw the Lord always before me;
with him at my right hand I shall not be shaken.
²⁶Therefore, my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted;
moreover, my flesh will live in hope.
